We sell Aero brand ink - one of the best quality rubber stamp inks available. Regular rubber stamp pad ink made by Aero will not damage stamps made out of polymer (a plastic commonly used to make rubber stamps).
We make your stamps out of natural rubber, so cheap inks will not damage the stamps we've made for you. But, since not everyone buys their stamps from us (we don't know why that would be), our regular stamp inks will not damage any stamp.
(Actually, one ink we sell is not made by Aero:  we sell Volger ink for green regular rubber stamp pad ink – we think Volger's green is nicer.)

Regular Rubber Stamp Pad Ink
Works on: Plain paper, Uncoated cardboard. (For papers with a coating, please send us a sample of the paper so we can see which ink will work the best.)
Use on: Stamp Pads, Extra Large Stamp Pads, Industrial Stamp Pads, Self Inking Stamps, Ideal Stamps, metal-framed self-inkers with removable pads.
Colors available: Black, Blue, Red, Green, Violet, Brown, Burgundy, Hot Pink, Orange, Turquoise.   Other colors available on special order.

MaxLight Pre-Inked Stamp Ink
Special information: It is designed only for MaxLight, IStamp and X-Stamper brand stamps.  MaxLight ink is a special oil-based ink that cannot be used on other types of stamps.  
Works on: Plain paper. Will work on other types of paper and cardboard, but we cannot guarantee anything. We suggest sending us a sample for us see if the ink will work.
Use on: MaxLight, IStamp, X-StamperTM.   This ink is guaranteed to damage all other types of stamps.
Colors available: Black, Blue, Red, Green, Light Blue, Burgundy, Purple, Fluorescent Pink, Fluorescent Orange.

X-StamperTM Pre-Inked Stamp Ink
Special information: It is designed only for MaxLight, IStamp and X-Stamper brand stamps.  X-Stamper ink is a special oil-based ink that cannot be used on other types of stamps.

Pre-Inked Stamp Ink for other brands
Special information:
There are many different types of pre-inked stamps. Most of them use ink specially meant for that brand.  We cannot say if the inks we sell will work with your stamp.  If your stamp has a removeable stamp pad, you want to use regular rubber stamp pad ink (above).

#83 Indelible Laundry Ink
Works on: Clothing. This is black ink, so it will not be visible on dark materials. The clothing must be washed at least once before stamping. You will probably need to stamp the clothing again after 10 to 20 washings.
Special information: This ink is not permanent. Unfortunately, there are no permanent inks that can be used with a rubber stamp. Permanent inks are used with printing equipment like silk-screening.
Use on: Regular Stamp Pads, Extra Large Stamp Pads, Industrial Stamp Pads, Opaque Ink Pads. Will damage any other type of stamp pad.

Opaque Inks
Work on: glass, some plastics, some metals. If there is a coating on the material to be stamped, these inks might not work – the ink will stick to the coating instead of the materials. We recommend that you send us a piece of the material so we can test it. Under normal circumstances, these inks dry in about 30-60 seconds.
There are different opaque inks depending on what material you are stamping.
Ink reactivator is used to refresh the surface of the pad and thin the ink.
Use on: Regular Stamp Pads, Extra Large Stamp Pads, Industrial Stamp Pads, Opaque Ink Pads. Will damage any other type of stamp pad.
Special information: This ink needs special attention to use. This ink is corrosive. The stamp you use with this ink must be cleaned every day it is used. (We also sell stamp cleaner.) This ink dries when exposed to air – this is how it dries on these materials. It will also dry on the stamp pad. Do not ink the entire pad, only enough to cover the stamp. When that section of the pad doesn't accept the ink anymore, move to another part of the pad. When the entire pad is dried up, it's time for a new pad. (We'll give you written instructions on how to use the ink when you buy it.)
More special information: Opaque Ink Reactivator is used to freshen the surface of the stamp pad. Of course, eventually the pad will be dried so much it can't be freshened.

#1740 Label Ink
Works on: Some coated papers and some photo papers. Since there are different coatings on paper, we recommend that you send us a sample to test.
Use on: Regular Stamp Pads, Extra Large Stamp Pads, Industrial Stamp Pads, Opaque Ink Pads. Will damage any other type of stamp pad.
Special information: This ink will leave a residue on the stamp. The stamp will need to be cleaned with stamp cleaner occasionally (every few months should be good enough, maybe even less often).

Numbering Machine Ink
Works on: Plain paper, Uncoated cardboard. This ink is oil-based and will damage all stamps except automatic-changing numbering machines. (We guarantee it will do damage.) There are special inks to stamp on some plastics and some metals. If stamping on plastic or metal, we recommend that you send us a sample to test.
Use on: Automatic Numbering Machines ONLY.

Invisible Ink
Works on: Skin. There are special invisible inks for use on paper, some plastics and some metals. If stamping on plastic or metal, we recommend that you send us a sample to test.
Use with: ultraviolet fluorescent light only. (We sell the light as well as the ink.)

#620 Polyethlene Ink
Works on: Polyethlene. It dries in about 30 seconds. Faster and slower drying inks are available on special order.
Use on: Regular Stamp Pads, Extra Large Stamp Pads, Industrial Stamp Pads, Opaque Ink Pads. Will damage any other type of stamp pad.

#752 and #752J Hand ID Ink
Works on: Skin (usually hands). It dries in about 10-15 seconds.
Special information: This is a non-toxic, waterproof, fade resisant ink. It is suitable for stamping hands for identification and re-entry purposes. Once dry, the imprint will remain on the skin for at least 24 hours. Because the ink dries out so quickly, using 752 thinner is highly recommended for reconditioning the stamp pad.
More special information: 752J ink has brighteners added so that it is visible under normal light but also fluoresces under an ultraviolet light.
Use on: Regular Stamp Pads, Extra Large Stamp Pads, Industrial Stamp Pads, Opaque Ink Pads. Will damage any other type of stamp pad.
Available colors: Black, blue, green, orange, pink, purple, red, white, yellow.

Stamp Cleaner
Put some on a cloth rag (don't use a paper towel – it leaves fibers on the stamp), blot the stamp, wipe the stamp. Pretty simple. Of course, if your stamp is really dirty, you'll have to wet the cloth and let it soak into the dirt on the stamp for about two minutes. Then wipe the stamp.
Since nothing is simple: Stamps are made out of two types of material – rubber and plastic. If the printing part of your stamp is made out of plastic, you must be very gentle when cleaning it - rubbing it too hard can break the stamp. The stamps we make are made out of rubber – rubber won't break unless you rub it way too hard.
