MANUALLY CHANGING NUMBERING STAMPS
These stamps are available as self-inking stamps or regular (not self-inking) These numbering stamps have bands made from rubber and are changed by hand.
The self-inking stamps can only be used with regular stamp pad ink - ink designed for paper.
Regular stamps (not self-inking) can be used with regular stamp pad ink and inks designed for plastic, glass or metal.

AUTOMATIC NUMBERING MACHINES
These stamps are available only as self-inking stamps

Automatic numbering machines have metal bands - they will stamp through carbonless forms.
These numbering machines use an oil-based ink. Other types of ink will not work on these stamps.
Normal numbering machine ink is designed for paper but there are special inks designed for glass, plastic or metal.

Standard size of print is 3/16" (18 point)     Smaller and larger print is also available.

		This is a picture of the Plus automatic numbering machine. It has a metal frame, a self-contained ink pad, metal mechanism to change the numbers, and metal bands to print the numbers. The numbers change automatically - you set how often the numbers advance - every time, every 2nd time, 3rd time, 4th time, 6th time, 12th time, or never changing. The Plus numbering machine is designed for medium-duty use. Letter bands are also available. Heavy-duty automatic numbering machines, and stamps that print the date along with changing numbers are also available.
